Supporting supporters with design and photography
IDEA Design was contacted by Beacon South Yorkshire, after hearing about how impressed Citizens Advice were about the work we produced for them. So we visited Beacon South Yorkshire to get a feel for the ideas they had, we worked with Beacon South Yorkshire to see how we could help them to really jump into the spotlight after a number of years of working hard in the background.
We created a completely new brand to replace the dated design, we revitalised their website with new tech and a fancy new look to match their new brand, and we produced photography that works really well to promote a range of services available to carers of the disabled, elderly and sufferers of substance misuse.
Responsive Website Design
Beacon South Yorkshires website was designed to run as well on mobile phones as it does on desktop machines. We wanted to keep the design and functionality clean, simple and easy to use, with the aim of allowing carers of elderly, disabled and suffers of substance abuse to find the care and support that they need to allow them to keep doing an incredible job of supporting people in our communities.
Photography
As part of the website build, we needed great imagery that promotes Beacon in the best light, the photographs needed to work seamlessly with the new website design, luckily we can provide photography to our client in-house without the need to outsource. The photographs we captured help to sell the team, the services and care for carers.

Roller Banners
Beacon South Yorkshire’s roller banners add colour and information throughout the office, allowing visitors and the team like to see the artwork and the key message of the business.
ID Tags
ID tags are a vital part of the branding update, all members of the Beacon South Yorkshire team must wear their ID tags for identity and security purposes while increasing the brand awareness during meetings with the Beacon South Yorkshire team.
Stationery
All internal and external documents are branded in the new design to keep consistency across all marketing and generating a stronger design presence in the marketplace. This helps Beacon South Yorkshire to be easily recognisable at events or if customers are looking for support.
Photography
As part of the website build, we photographed the Beacon South Yorkshire team hard at work and interacting with clients. We also captured individual headshots of the team for use on their ID cards and for their online profile. Professional photography is incredibly important to get the real physical business across to your customers by promoting the team and services available to end users.
