The importance of hiring a professional wedding photographer
With the rise of smartphone cameras and more affordable DSLR cameras being more popular than ever, it’s often mistaken that the camera is the tool that creates the perfect image. Most weddings have a starting point of around 30 guests, no doubt each guest has a smartphone and maybe even a digital camera… so why don’t you just let them capture their version of your wedding and save money on your wedding photography?
How often have you heard or maybe even said it yourself “Oh, that’s a big camera, I bet that takes some amazing pictures!” without knowing it, most people say this as a throwaway comment, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. As an example, that would be like saying to a professional author “That pen looks expensive, I bet it can write some amazing novels” when in reality the pen and camera are just tools. If the user of the tool didn’t have years of experience and the correct skills to use them, then the results just wouldn’t be as professional.
This is where our story comes back to your wedding, it’s, in most cases, a once in a lifetime event, you really don’t want to take the chance of getting one or two snaps of your day that are worth keeping, you want a range of well documented, creatively taken and edited images that will last a lifetime!
