“What can I say. Absolutely fantastic photographer with a keen eye for detail. Having got lee to do some professional shots for my business along with our website I was amazed at the quality and I instantly knew there was no one else but lee for any future work. We also used wipdesigns to be the photographer for our wedding and were blown away by the finished result. Top job, top man and top price. Thanks again buddy.”

Louise And Marcus Hawley's Wedding Photography

I’m always thrilled and proud to be invited to be the wedding photographer for couples on their wedding day. Being invited to be the wedding photographer at Louise and Marcus wedding was no exception. The day was made incredibly entertaining from start to finish. The bridal preparation was great fun, with all of the bridesmaids proving to be extremely helpful and full of life. One of the key benefits to The Crown Hotel in Bawtry is that they are incredibly prepared for weddings, having an on-site hairdressing studio, this made the whole preparation much easier to manage.

As with many weddings, the preparation was over in what felt like 10 minutes, how times flys when you’re having fun right? The Brides transport arrived, which happened to be a beautiful white Rolls Royce, who wouldn’t want to arrive in a Rollo? From here we headed over to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park for the first look and ceremony. Shortly after we were chauffeured around the park in a golf buggy by Matthew, who was incredibly helpful and kept everything on schedule, this guy loves his job and it’s clear to see! We first visited the Brown Bears to hand feed them apples.

Shortly after we flew over to the park’s tower of Giraffes, wow! is the only thing to say here, getting up close and personal with the Giraffes was amazing, hand feeding them and witnessing their unbelievably long and dexterous tongue was something to put a smile on anyone’s face.

After the Giraffes, we headed over to hand feed everyone’s favourite wide-eyed, chilled out mammals, the Lemurs! How cute! As fluffy and cute as they were, no touching please.

I think everyone who attended the wedding will admit that, if you’re not into traditional weddings, but you’re thinking of getting married in the not too distant future, then The Yorkshire Wildlife Park is absolutely a must for you, fun packed and incredibly well suited to adventurous couples.

After the crazy fun at The Yorkshire Wildlife Park, we headed back over to the Crown Hotel Bawtry for family portraits, yummy food, speeches the first dance and everyone’s favourite part, the sweaty alcohol-fueled dancefloor party! Woo!

It’s been an absolute pleasure capturing all the moments throughout Louise and Marcus’ special day, and I wish them all the luck in the future. Thanks guys!

We never doubted you for a second and we are so so so unbelievably happy with all of the photos from start to finish. You truly captured the theme and vibe of the day. WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Hannah And Richard Adams’ Wedding

Being the wedding photographer always brings a smile to my face, I think it’s often overlooked that the photographer gets to really be involved in every stage of a wedding day, from the morning nerves of the couple, all of the preparation that goes into getting ready, rushing around, clock watching and all associated thoughts, the only difference is that as the photographer, I get to keep out of the way and capture all of this amazing concoction of emotions throughout each wedding.

Hannah and Richard Adams’ wedding was no exception. I started my day off early, travelling from Sheffield to Whitby through the amazing views in the North York Moors. Arriving early with Hannah and bridesmaids at the quaint location, ‘The Toll Bar‘ which boasts a sea view and plenty of space for the whole family’s wedding preparation.

From here we headed over to what must be one of Whitby’s most famous landmarks, St Mary’s Church at the top of the 199 steps. There’s something magical about a wedding with church bells and the hard work of the bell ringers is something to admire. Did you know, that if they become out of sync, they have to start over from the beginning!

After a short time capturing some more traditional photographs we headed over to the Stables at the Cross Butts for the reception and speeches. Shortly after the five speeches were complete, the whole room sat down to the one and only meal for a day in Whitby, fish and chips! (I had the vegan spring vegetable ‘katsu’ curry, yum!) It wasn’t long after the disco was in full swing, with wedding disco classics such as Top Gun’s Danger Zone and Slipknot… well, I never said this was a traditional wedding.

As always, I’ve had an amazing time and lots of fun capturing one of the most important days of a couples life together. Hannah, Richard, thank you for having me capture your day of celebration with family and friends.

Some lovely feedback…

“Well, where to start with this guy (Lee).

What a fantastic job he did of capturing the magical moments at our Wedding.

Lee wasn’t noticed while he was shooting which was great for me as it was one less thing to put me off remembering my vows!

Lee captured the atmosphere of our day brilliantly.

He got all of the shots that you would expect on your Wedding day and all of the natural shots that make the photo’s so amazing, All the laughs, the smiles and the fooling around.

He painted a perfect picture of the day starting at the Bride’s location where she was getting ready, then to St. Mary’s Church where the Groom was waiting with all of our guests and then onto the amazing reception venue, The Stables at Crossbutts, where the speeches were held and dancing commenced.

Lee was always discreet and professional but also a brilliant guest at our big day.

His service has been second to none and the turnaround on the photos was unbelievable, no one expected them to be done as quickly as they were.

I would not hesitate to call him for any more photographic needs and I would recommend him to anyone.

Thank you Lee for capturing our day.

P.S turns out he’s a great dancer too!!”
